Hwange Conservation Society was established as a UK charity in 1992 to help protect the wildlife of Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe.

We are a UK based registered charity (No 1036153) and run purely on a voluntary basis which means all monies raised goes directly to help the park as we have no overheads to pay such as rent, wages, insurance etc.

Our aim is to support the National park and its environs by raising funds which are used to help protect the wildlife and support the surrounding community with such things as medical supplies, and school equipment.

Organisations we work closely with include Wildlife and National Parks Authority of Zimbabwe, Wildlife and Environment Zimbabwe a local Zimbabwean charity and SAVE Foundation of Australia.  We also work closely with organisations such as Kent Scout group who aid and assist with some of the larger projects we are often involved in.
